Was difficult for ME to get set up – now I LOVE IT
I am apparently not very tech savvy – I had trouble setting up with new WiFi – so had to chat with an HP tech. Took a while to get my brain and fingers coordinated – but I am VERY happy with this printer now. It does everything it is supposed to do. Works great. Touch screen was my main issue initially.

I bought this because I had a big Epson WF office printer and wanted to switch to HP with their ink subscription. I will say I am very impressed. This printer does just as good as my $350 printer did and with a cheap subscription to ensure I always have ink which actually saves me money is a huge plus. I highly recommend this product.

Missing one really important thing
The printer itself seems to do a good job. I have had HP printers for years. But this one has a flaw that drives me crazy. My printer sits up on the second tear of my computer desk. When I print, the papers come out and fly all over the room because there is no piece of plastic there, like the others printers have, to catch the papers. This is a terrible flaw with this printer and I wish that HP had thought about it before they put it on the market. May not sound like much, but no matter what your printing you better be there to catch it because it will definitely fall and flutter all over the room.

Easy to install
The instructions are limited and could be improved but I set it up in about 15 minutes…and I am no techie at 83. The only downside is the control buttons are not too clear and I had to look on my diagram to figure out what was what. Be sure and know your WiFi password or you will be in trouble!

Great Printer!
This is an awesome printer! I had to replace my Canon printer that I used for work and personal and it finally died of old age and use(?). I bought 2 different Canon printers to replace my old one. Both I had to return due to they would not connect with my WiFi. I had been in the business of Internet and cell phones for 17 years, so I have some knowledge of how they work and set up, so I don’t believe it was due to user error. So I got this little HP baby and had no issues. Set up was easy and quick. Printing quality is very good. I really like how the paper feed is on the backside and how the scanner works and prints. I was able to get 3 months free ink cartridge, which I prefer the cartridge. Overall I love and am very impressed with this printer! You won’t be disappointed!

The last wireless HP printer that I owned printed, scanned and copied flawlessly for ten years without issue, so I was expecting the same for this one. I was wrong. The HP engineers really failed on this one. This was the most frustrating printer/scanner that I have ever owned in my entire 53 year life. Wireless piece of garbage that doesn’t even come with a printer cable to direct connect it. I spent hours trying to get it to connect and print. It still doesn’t scan documents. Be prepared to call the HP helpdesk multiple times to get all functions working. I’m considering smashing it with a sledgehammer and then burning it in my fire pit to relieve my frustration and anger. Do not buy this HP DeskJet 4155e All-in-One Wireless Color Printer, unless you’re sending it to someone you don’t like!!!!
