Almost feels too good to be true
I had not bought a new PC in almost 10 years, but after growing tired of the troubles I was having with my old PC, I decided to splurge a bit and see how ordering a Y60 Gaming Desktop to my home would go. I have had it for about 20 days so far.It arrived earlier than expected, and the exterior of the box was in good shape, always a good sign. The PC itself was very tightly packed, both well cushioned/secured. It was a challenge getting it out of the box without cutting apart the box’s edges itself. The PC came out of the box in mint condition. Not a single blemish on what has since become one of my prideful possessions. I was very pleased so far.The interior packing foam was so well installed. It was a form fit that did not press down on any of the components too hard. It was actually a major hassle removing it without having to remove the GPU. With patience I removed it safely though, and was pleased to see the GPU had been reinforced with couple zip ties and an appropriately sized foam spacer.Upon closely inspecting the interior of the computer, I could not find any single issue apparent to me there either. Clean, unblemished, not thing bent or dung up, and the cable management was impressively done. I could not see any way in which I could improve upon it. The case seems naturally strong suited for tight cable management, and that obviously was utilized by whoever assembled my own pearl. After getting the PC booted and setup, I have been having such an absolute blast with this thing. I really hope it continues to perform well for me, time will tell, I have a good feeling about it. So far though, it is performing very well. It is in the 69th percentile on UserBenchmark without any overclocking, or any performance optimizing tweaks to the Nvidia control panel.I am abundantly happy with it. From what I can gather, others seem to largely be having a good time with their new machines as well. There isn’t a day that goes by I’m not happy to see this crown jewel running my set up. The beating heart and the brain of my temple, my most sacred and hallowed of spaces. It was a pleasure doing business with IBuyPower. You guys brought the magic back to my digital life. Playing the DS3 Cinders mod for the first time finally on the TV I have…Incredible. What a time to be alive. I don’t take it for granted.I had to be fiscally responsible for a good long while, and couldn’t afford a purchase like this in good conscience. I appreciate this thing all the more now getting it at the right time, for a price I am also happy with. IBP are Dream Makers.

Ibuypower pro Y60 gaming pc is top notch
Have not bought a PC in seven years decided on purchasing one from ibuypower. Purchase the Pro Y60 gaming PC. System in the last week has been amazing. Been gaming every day and has not let me down once. Packaging was to perfection with no missing or rattling parts. PC runs so quiet you can’t even tell it’s on. Graphics are outstanding.

A little cheap beast!
I was sceptical about buying this pc because you dont know what cheap pc hardwear you will get but after getting it i was blown away. I didnt have to worry about buying and building a pc myself and getting things that didnt work together (like power and GFC). I do wish they would include a spec sheet of all componentes in your specific pc you just bought, so upgrading can be easier but in all WAY WORTH THE MONEY kinda biden president so itll cost more……..

Great system, with come caveats
Build quality and components for the price are on par with what I expected. I checked all components, and no shortcuts were taken given the system and its requirements. Shipping was excellent and I feel the packaging was more than adequate for transport. Beautiful case, and great airflow. I can’t speak to IBUYPOWER’s RMA process as everything passed stress testing. Cable management, and routing was really clean. Really impressed with the build quality.I do however have a few complaints. The only settings I seen that were changed via bios was liquid cooling being enabled. As well as iexpo being enabled over XMP for the ram timings. Bios was a late 2023 revision. My i9-14900KF was released around the same time so I won’t complain too much about that. What I will complain about is the fact that it’s come out that i9’s are being potentially damaged by incorrect power limits imposed by motherboard manufactures. Seeing as it’s a pre-built I’d expect those settings to be revised and to adhere to Intel specs not a motherboard manufactures. Seeing as most consumers will have no idea of how to manually change these settings themselves.Out of the box my CPU was overheating under load. I had to manually change settings within the bios to adhere to Intel’s specs to fix that issue. Like I stated before this is far beyond the scope of the average consumer, and I feel that IBUYPOWER should rectify this situation. With some type of documentation, or for them to correctly change these settings in house before offering this product.Furthermore, the fan profile on my MSI motherboard is a bit tricky. You need to know if the fans are pwn or dc controlled. Which lead me to tracing all fans, and my pump connections to correctly set these parameters. That’s way above the average consumer to understand yet trace and set correctly. It’s another area I feel IBUYPOWER could set out of the box to help with cooling. I know it’s rather subjective to the end user, but at least provide documentation for their fans and how to correctly select the correct controller interface (pwn/dc).I also had an issue with their preinstalled windows. I kept running into issues with .net framework not wanting to install. I ended up just clean installing windows 11. Not quite a huge issue, as the key is baked into the motherboard. Just another case of the average user not understanding how to complete a clean install. Their support documentation is extremely vague and should be better updated so that it’s more novice friendly regarding clean windows installs. My recommendation to IBUYPOWER is to update their support knowledge base as its very lacking. Or better yet provide a forum in which users can connect to more advanced users in which to receive support from. I suppose the reddit link on their website could offer help, but a dedicated area within their website would be much more helpful. Then again, I didn’t reach out to support to see if they offered more extensive support. Also a complete build list of all parts would sure be nice, so that we have an idea of what’s under the hood instead of having to take panels off.All in all, a great system with some caveats to consider.
